Nicole Duncan, LMFT & LPCC
Assistant Clinical Director
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Clinical Counseling Professional. I specialize in the treatment of trauma, supporting children, adolescents, adults, parents, and families as they navigate what feels most challenging. In therapy, I help clients re-discover their own internal compass -- one that guides them toward meaning, awareness, and intentional growth.
Along my professional path, I spent the first half of my career as a C-Suite leader in the corporate world, working alongside ambitious executives shaping business, innovation, and design. Through that experience, I witnessed the profound impact stress and overextension can have on wellbeing. This awareness inspired me to dedicate my second career to supporting individuals, families, and professionals in a therapeutic way.
I draw from a range of evidence-based and somatic approaches, tailoring treatment to each client's unique needs. My training includes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Radically Open DBT (RO-DBT), DBT-Prolonged Exposure (DBT-PE), Somatic Experiencing (SE), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I hold a B.A. in Psychology from Skidmore College and an M.A. in Holistic Counseling Psychology and Somatic Psychology from John F. Kennedy University.
